A listener to Gracearchy with Jim Babka asks about all the stupidity he sees in the world.
He wonders what the cause of it is, then offers his hypothesis. It goes like this…
People are stupid because they can’t be bothered to think things through like I do.
Is he right?
Bill Protzmann and Jim Babka provide a mind-opening answer in this short episode.
All of this resonates with me. I’ve gone through most of my life lamenting and complaining about all the stupidity I see around me. But eventually, I started noticing all the things I used to be wrong about.
- Was I stupid back when I believed all those wrong things?
- And am I only just now getting smart?
- Am I done believing wrong things?
- Do I finally have it all figured out?
My answer to all of those questions is no. I wasn’t stupid back then. And I’m not done being wrong now. I don’t have it all figured out yet. But still…
Why are so many of us so wrong about so many things? And what can we do about it?
How do we get people to take a Zero Aggression approach to life and to politics?
I think Jim Babka offers some good guidance on this.
His primary solution, what he calls the “Imitation Game,” is both compelling and practical.
Be smart. Check it out…
