8 [Heretical?] Reflections on Faith and Religion

Skeptics and nonbelievers are right to reject the religion and faith believers have presented them.

You might be tempted to take that statement at face value. Don’t!

Everything you’ve been told about religion and faith is likely wrong. That goes for believers and nonbelievers alike.

Presented here are eight personal expressions on religion and faith…

Most of the eight items we covered (in just 35 minutes) could be an entire episode. But if I could oversimplify…

-Religion is an artifact of violence.
-Faith is blind adherence to religion.
-And God is on our side in this violence!

This is trouble if we want a Zero Aggression world.

And I’m saying all of this, as a believer!

In fact, my thinking on this started with a Ron Paul moment.
