The single-payer is even more well-hidden than Waldo! Retweet
Statists use words in tricky ways…
- What many statists call conservative or liberal is really more appropriately called right-statist and left-statist.
- What many right-statists call national security is really enemy creation or military isolationism.
- What many left-statists call socialism is highly anti-social, and what they call progressive usually achieves backward results.
George Orwell warned us about this kind of linguistic tricksterism in his writings, including the classics 1984 and Animal Farm.
We’re making our own effort to counter these tricks in Mental Lever mini-articles. You’ll find most of this linguistic work in our newest Mental Levers collection, Our Lexicon. Some of it appears in the Statism & Statist Myths collection. Our latest entry is in the Our Lexicon collection. It unpacks the fraudulent left-statist use of the term single-payer…
Are advocates of single-payer lying, perhaps even to themselves?
