Wow! The New York Times has been pontificating about the supposed debt ceiling crisis, but they’re getting it all wrong.

Jim Babka and Bill Proztmann examine the errors and provide better answers in the latest episode of Gracearchy with Jim Babka.

The New York Times claims…

  • The Republicans have abused the debt ceiling and the Democrats haven’t.
  • The Democrats are 90% right about the budget, while the GOP is only 10% right.
  • There are only four paths this supposed crisis can follow.

All three of these claims are wrong, and Jim provides correctives to each of these errors.

Jim Babka also demonstrates that…

The two parties have used the debt ceiling in much the same way.
There is an unaddressed problem that suggests the Democrats and Republicans are both wrong about spending and the debt.

The most important option is one that the Times failed to even consider among its four alternatives!

So The Times is not even 90% correct!

Jim also addresses an important question about The New York Times’ worldview…

Is there any amount of YOUR money that will satisfy The Times?

Jim also explains how debt is bondage, and makes some predictions about where this conflict will lead.

And here’s something you’ll only hear on Gracearchy – the connection between forgiveness and debt. You’ll learn how to apply the power of forgiveness to this issue.
