Are you brave enough to disobey a Chinese Communist law?

You’re being invited to disobey a Chinese Communist law.

There’s a relatively new law in Hong Kong. It declares that anyone, any place, past or present, who speaks against the actions of the Chinese State, can be prosecuted and found guilty of, essentially, sedition.

They just convicted publisher Jimmy Lai under this law. Now, he faces a life sentence. Hearings on that sentence begin next week.

Jimmy was a liberty leader in Hong Kong. He published a very popular newspaper and magazine that the government shut down. They stole his fortune. They arrested him. He sits in solitary confinement, on a previous and objectively bizarre charge. His health is failing.

Now, you’re being invited to a revolutionary act of civil disobedience.

It’s no crime to watch our interview of Eric Kohn, as we discuss Jimmy Lai’s case. It’s no crime to click thumbs up after you’ve watched. But…

It may be a crime that we published it.

And it might even be a crime for YOU to Share this interview with others. This isn’t hype. We explain how and why at the beginning of this episode.

I also reveal how the Chinese Communist Party may well have targeted the Zero Aggression Project. Then, our guest, Eric Kohn, tops my story!

Now, will you have the courage to…

Disobey a Chinese Communist law?

Acts of Journalism

We told Jimmy Lai’s story in Episode 49 (June 2023).

Eric also joined our show at the time because there was a brand-new movie about Jimmy’s story. It’s called “The Hong Konger.” If you watch it, you will…

  • Learn even more about the history of Hong Kong.
  • Really get to know Jimmy Lai.
  • Be moved.

I recommend you watch The Hong Konger on the liberty platform CiVL.

But our episode explains why Jimmy remains in prison and brings the National Security Law trial details up to date.

Jimmy Lai is an inspiration with a moving story. But we want a happy ending to that story.

Free Jimmy Lai!

It might be a crime in Hong Kong or mainland China to share this video, but with each small act of defiance, just like this, we increase the odds that this outspoken dissident is freed to be back with his family and friends.
