The Zero Aggression Project is an initiative of Downsize DC Foundation. For years, we have partnered with our sister organization, DownsizeDC.org, Inc. (Agenda Setters by Downsize DC) to sponsor federal court amicus briefs. But DownsizeDC.org has done most of the heavy lifting.

Missouri enacted a fabulous law – the “Second Amendment Preservation Act” (SAPA).

SAPA is a law in the spirit of the Tenth Amendment, providing a sanctuary for gun owners and Second Amendment rights. It prohibits state and local participation enforcement of unconstitutional laws. Simply put, the Feds have to do the dirty work themselves.

But a federal judge disagreed and made the extraordinary argument that the feds have the power to commandeer local officials and resources, if the primary excuse (for not participating) is a constitutional objection!

Ron DeSantis used Twitter to announce his presidential bid. CNN, The Atlantic, Axios, and Vanity Fair sputter and decry the failure to come to them for his announcement — the traditional gatekeepers.
