In Defense of Joe Rogan

Is there a right-wing conspiracy to control or silence Joe Rogan?

Douglas Murray appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience (podcast). With Murray’s permission, Joe also invited his friend Dave Smith, hoping for a sharp debate on Israel-Palestine and the Ukraine war.

But the debate never happened.

I get Joe’s impulse. A real debate can be a fast track to insight. Joe wanted to watch two sharp minds he respects go at it.

Instead, Murray tried to lead Joe through a virtual struggle session about how Joe runs HIS! show. Murray’s behavior was pedantic, fussy, and impertinent.

Unless you went in agreeing with Murray and hating the sight of Smith, you thought Murray defeated himself. And you got…

No clarity. No learning. Just drama.

So why is one episode of a solitary podcast still echoing across the internet weeks later?

Dispatches from Podcastistan

There’s a conspiracy afoot. Some former Rogan guests —once banned or on the edge of censorship themselves — want him to change and conform.

They’ve tasted power. Now, they’re using Woke-style tactics to enforce ideological purity on the right.

One of these “Celebritarians” — himself a benefactor of the new media — dubbed the free, open world of podcasts “Podcastistan.”

Another just reappeared on Rogan’s program last week. While he was more polite than Murray, he too tried to lead Joe into the same kind of struggle session over his guest choices.

Heaven forbid a podcast lets you hear opinions from outside the expert class.

But don’t just take my word for it. In this episode, I’ll…

– Name the Celebritarians behind the push to tame Podcastistan
– Expose their playbook and reveal the players by name
– Show how the right-wing is flirting with its own Woke-style witch hunts — they’ll even become obsessed with “disinformation,” enforcing orthodoxy, and censorship (they’ll use different terms for those things).

Plus, I shall answer Douglas Murray’s primary concern about the need for credentialed experts.

In fact, I’ll go further. I’ll offer Gracepoints, the most of amazing of which will be…
