Do you say, “Wait, we don’t yet have the facts!” Do you object, “The people in MAGA aren’t responsible, only the person(s) who set the fire are.”

Under the new partisan rules, you’re urged to believe that everyone on the other side is guilty for each act of violence or vandalism.
Both sides use intense language, even violent rhetoric. Now, under the new rules, the “victim side” can declare, “See, they won’t stop until they kill us!”
In this episode of Gracearchy with Jim Babka, Jim decided it was time to hold a mirror up to them.
Frankly, it was uncomfortable to sit through that part. I wanted to be factual and fair.

Rules of The Blame
We begin with evidence that a new rule is in effect – it’s called collective blame. Everyone on the other partisan side wants to harm, if not destroy you.
Then, Jim shows us how the perennial scapegoat mechanism is at work. He also exposes the myth of the scapegoat. And he explains why both sides are rushing to be victims and how they’re inviting violence against themselves – generating a self-fulfilling prophecy of escalating violence.
