Partisan hacks are inviting you to the Collective Blame Game.
How do you feel when you hear the words, “MAGA burns down judge’s house?”
Do you say, “Wait, we don’t yet have the facts!” Do you object, “The people in MAGA aren’t responsible, only the person(s) who set the fire are.”
But what if the rules have changed? What if we’re now playing…
The Collective Blame Game
Under the new partisan rules, you’re urged to believe that everyone on the other side is guilty for each act of violence or vandalism.
Both sides use intense language, even violent rhetoric. Now, under the new rules, the “victim side” can declare, “See, they won’t stop until they kill us!”
In this episode of Gracearchy with Jim Babka, Jim decided it was time to hold a mirror up to them.
Frankly, it was uncomfortable to sit through that part. I wanted to be factual and fair.
Fortunately, we got to the root causes, leading to profound solutions. Jim’s concept of the “prophetic witness” presents each of us with a hard yet profound opportunity to counter the escalating scale of violence.

Rules of The Blame
We begin with evidence that a new rule is in effect – it’s called collective blame. Everyone on the other partisan side wants to harm, if not destroy you.
Then, Jim shows us how the perennial scapegoat mechanism is at work. He also exposes the myth of the scapegoat. And he explains why both sides are rushing to be victims and how they’re inviting violence against themselves – generating a self-fulfilling prophecy of escalating violence.
If you’ve listened to our show, then you won’t be surprised to hear that the Gospel is part of the cure. However, Jim shocks us with the news that the most religious amongst us serve a violent god, and they’re eager to join the partisan rivals.
Now, before you say, “Well, this sounds religious, I’m out,” Jim explains how even some non-believers can see the way of Christ better than many believers can. And he lays before ALL of us new insights about de-escalation, including…
- Who your enemy really is
- How to identify the real persecutor
- What a prophetic witness does
- Why we need more libertarians
You’ll only hear these steps here. This is the kind of out-of-the-box take we rely upon Jim to provide.
If you’re a libertarian… If you want to get out of the blame game, tune in.
